Math games for kids — arithmetic, fractions and graphs

Math is where game-based learning earns its keep: the facts only stick with repetition, and repetition is exactly what a good game loop delivers without anyone noticing. TapToLearn's math games cover the elementary arc — addition and subtraction facts, multiplication tables and division, then fractions, then reading and building graphs.

How TapToLearn teaches math

Speed with accuracy

Math vs Zombies and Math Games put a clock on arithmetic. Kids who can answer 7 × 8 before a zombie reaches the door have the fact, not just the method.

Seeing before symbols

Tiny Fractions never shows a fraction without a picture of it — a shaded pizza, a filled vial, a broken chocolate bar — so equivalence and comparison are things you can see.

Three levels in one game

Every math game has Easy, Medium and Hard bands that change the number ranges, so a grade 1 and a grade 5 can play the same title.

Reports, not grades

The web games keep a log of wrong answers on the device so a parent can see exactly which facts need another go.

Math questions parents ask

Which TapToLearn math game should a 7-year-old start with?

Are the math games aligned to Common Core?

Yes — the question sets in Math vs Zombies are organised by Common Core operations and number ranges, and Tiny Fractions follows the grade 3–5 fractions progression (identify, compare, equivalent, add and subtract).

Is there a free fractions game I can play in the browser?

Tiny Fractions plays free at taptolearn.com/apps/fractions/ with no download or account: five games (Identify, Compare, Reorder, Equivalents, Arithmetic) plus nine picture tutorials.

Do the math games work on a Chromebook?

Yes. Math vs Zombies and Tiny Fractions are plain HTML5 and run in the Chrome browser on any Chromebook, with progress saved on the device.
